Job summary

JLL in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Shift M&E Technician to operate and maintain HVAC and building systems in a 24/7 environment. You will monitor chillers, AHUs, PVAC, PCW, and related equipment, working with the LV Chargeman and shift team to ensure continuous facility operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical maintenance, preventive and corrective actions, safety compliance, and accurate documentation of activities and incidents during each shift.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HVAC and building systems.
• Familiar with Oil-Free Air (OFA/CDA), PVAC, and PCW systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor HVAC systems to maintain environmental conditions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical and building systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and support corrective actions under guidance.
• Collaborate with Shift LV Chargeman and other technicians.
• Maintain shift logs and report faults promptly.
• Respond to alerts and assist in emergency drills if required.
