Job summary

CGP Personnel is recruiting a Shift Leader (F&B) for a renowned coffee brand at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The full-time role oversees daily shift operations, drives customer service excellence and ensures food and beverage quality while supervising a small team.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in F&B or retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, and must be comfortable with rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in F&B, QSR or retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and developing team members.
• Having a valid Food Handling Cert & Typhoid Cert is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team during assigned shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members to maintain service and operational standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally.
• Ensure food quality (donuts, sandwiches) and beverage preparation meet standards; maintain store cleanliness.
• Support store opening/closing, cash handling and daily operational checks.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Coach, motivate and provide on-the-job training to team members.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving sales, productivity and targets.
• Ensure SOPs, food safety and hygiene standards are followed.
• Prepare smooth shift handovers and report issues to Store Manager.

Salary: RM2,300 – RM2,500 Base on experience

Location:

Pavilion Bukit Jalil

Work Arrangement: 6 days work week shift rotation (45 Hours work week)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team during assigned shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members to maintain service and operational standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally.
• Ensure food quality (freshly baked Donuts and Sandwiches), beverage (Coffee, Tea & Cold Brew) preparation and store cleanliness meet company standards.
• Support store opening and closing procedures, cash handling and daily operational checks.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Coach, motivate and provide on-the-job training to team members.
• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales, productivity and operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Prepare smooth shift handovers and report operational issues to the Store Manager.
