Job summary

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to manage and inspect machinery in the production of sheets. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 2-3 years of experience, and a strong understanding of CNC machines. Responsibilities include production management, quality inspections, and routine maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

• Manage uncoiling and coil forming machine to produce sheets.

Job description

Manage uncoiling & coil forming machine to produce sheets for shearing and bending purpose.

Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for operation, inspection, and quality control.

Conduct Inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Troubleshoot machinery issues related to bending/shearing processes as needed.

Involved in routine maintenance tasks on the machinery to maintain efficiency and performance.

Manage inventory and order necessary parts and supplies as needed.

Follow all safety procedures.

Assist & support other production activities, including extrusion cutting, packaging and shipping tasks as required.

Qualifications:

High school, diploma or equivalent

2-3 years of experience in sheet metal work

Familiarity with CNC controlled machines

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles

Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics accurately.

Capable of working independently and as part of a team with hands-on support.

Adherence to safety procedures.

Experiences in clean panel fabrication is an added advantage.
