Job summary

KINGDOM BSL TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks a Bending / Turret Punch Press / Laser Cutting Technician (Sheet Metal) to operate bending, turret punch press, and laser cutting machines in a production setting.

You will set up equipment according to drawings/specifications and ensure accurate, safe processing. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing basic maintenance, and collaborating with the team to meet production targets while following safety rules and keeping the area

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machine operator.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility (Sheet Metal) or similar relevant experience.
• Understanding of production processes.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate well with others.
• Experience operating bending, turret punch press, or laser cutting machines is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate Turret Punch Press Machine.
• Operate Laser Cutting Machine.
• Operate Bending Machine.
• Set up the Bending Machine by using accurate tools/equipment.
• Set up and maintain tools/equipment for production.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
• Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
• Work under the guidance of the Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties on time.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
• Maintain the work area clean, safe, and organized.
