Job summary

Eonmetall Group Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Safety/Environment professional to support SHE programs across facilities. You will help develop and implement safety policies, conduct regular inspections, lead incident investigations, and assist management with risk assessments and reporting.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Engineering/Safety/Science/Environment and a hands-on approach to safety, health, and environmental management in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Safety/Science/Environment.
• Experience in manufacturing safety preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement SHE policies and programs.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
• Assist in development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist in managing Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) processes.
• Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
• Assist in preparing reports and communicate findings to management.
• Assist in developing SHE training programs for employees.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work practices.
• Monitor environmental metrics such as waste management and chemical storage to ensure compliance.
• Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and spill response.
• Ensure emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available and functional.
• Oversee waste management programs, including handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Assist in SHE performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
