SHE OFFICER

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Officer to join our team at SHIN NIPPON INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a SHE Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, health and environmental compliance of our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our company.

What you'll be doing

Develop, implement and monitor safety, health and environmental policies and procedures

Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential risks

Provide training and guidance to employees on safety, health and environmental best practices

Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental regulations and legislation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on SHE performance metrics

What we're looking for

Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or a related field

Minimum 2 to 3 years of SHE working experience as SHE role, preferably in manufacturing industry

OSH Coordinator / Officer Certification is required. Possess with CePSWaM will be added advantage

Thorough understanding of safety, health and environmental regulations and best practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address SHE-related issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels

Proficient in the use of safety management software and data analysis tools

Proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement
