Service Technician (HVAC)

Job Responsibilities

1. Carry out service, maintenance, commissioning, overhaul, troubleshooting, installation, warranty repair, and other specialist services on the full range of JCI and other manufacturers' Process and Industrial refrigeration equipment.
2. Conduct comprehensive plant audits for Industrial and Process refrigeration systems and prepare detailed reports explaining the plant condition, observations, and recommendations.
3. Travel throughout Southeast Asia and other regions as required to service the customer base, including shore and offshore locations.
4. Perform service work to the highest standards in line with JCI policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
5. Ensure all service work is completed safely and efficiently, minimizing callbacks and warranty expenses.
6. Complete service reports thoroughly and accurately after each service order; for work exceeding one week, submit weekly reports.
7. Identify and promote new or additional services, parts, and products during daily fieldwork, providing feedback on potential opportunities to the service office.
8. Supervise subcontractors working on behalf of JCI.
9. As a Senior Engineer, mentor and train team members to share experience and knowledge.
10. Maintain the service vehicle and any tools or equipment in good condition.
11. Build and sustain customer relationships to support the growth of our maintenance base.
12. Maintain the highest safety standards at all job sites, including adherence to JCI safety policies.
13. Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors or management, including ad-hoc tasks.
