Aggreko in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Service Technician - Electrical to install, commission, decommission and maintain electrical equipment across onshore and offshore sites.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, assemble and operate generators and transformers, and travel on short notice. A4 Chargeman certification is required.

Formación

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic /Mechatronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in the Electrical field; mechanical experience is a plus.
• A4 Chargeman – certified issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) is a must.

Responsabilidades

• To perform all electrical installation tasks in support of new and existing machinery from drawings or schematics with minimum supervision.
• To troubleshoot machinery failure (mechanical and electrical) and perform remedial action with minimum supervision.
• To strip down and report the condition of equipment and advise on spare parts.
• To assemble and operate all equipment including generators, transformers and temperature control equipment.
• To travel for on/offshore jobs on short notice and respond to emergency calls after hours.
• To use analog and digital measurement equipment for electrical and mechanical parameters.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Service Technician - Electrical in Johor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for carrying out installations, commissioning, decommissioning as well as maintenance and repairs of equipment.

What You’ll Do As Service Technician - Electrical

• To perform all electrical installation tasks in support of new and existing machinery working from engineering drawings or schematics, with minimum supervision. This will include equipment such as a generator, transformer, load bank or temperature control equipment.
• To troubleshoot machinery failure or breakdown (mechanical and electrical) and to perform remedial action while referring to equipment manuals or electrical schematics with minimum supervision. This will include equipment such as a generator, transformer, load bank or temperature control equipment.
• To strip down and report the condition of a wide range of equipment as stated earlier. To advise on spare parts and to rebuild to a high standard.
• To assemble and operate all equipment which includes the generator, transformer, load bank, temperature control equipment and other equipment.
• To be able and ready to travel for on/offshore jobs on a short notice and to be able to respond to any emergency breakdown calls after office hours.
• To be able to use a variety of analog and digital measurement equipment for electrical and mechanical parameter measurements.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic /Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in the Electrical field, experience in the Mechanical field a plus.
• A4 Chargeman – certified issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) is a must.
