Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and service reports.
  • Assist in procurement-related tasks, including issuance of Material Requisition Forms.
  • Support the Service Manager and Field Engineers in documentation tracking.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Provide basic technical follow-up support on service jobs.
  • Assist sales and engineering teams with proposal preparation.
  • Participate in occasional site visits or coordination tasks at customer locations.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Service Support Engineer to join our operations team. This role plays a key part in supporting engineering services by managing documentation, preparing quotations, coordinating with suppliers, and assisting with internal operational processes. The role is based primarily in the office, with occasional on-site support when needed.

Note: This position may involve supporting projects and service operations at client sites within the food & beverage sector, including non-halal (alcoholic beverage) manufacturing facilities. Candidates should be comfortable working in such environments and supporting project teams servicing these clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, service reports, quotations, and supplier correspondence.
  • Assist in procurement-related tasks, including issuance of Material Requisition Forms (MRFs) and coordination with suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Support the Service Manager and Field Engineers in documentation tracking, service scheduling, and internal coordination.
  • Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, spare parts, or services.
  • Provide basic technical follow-up support on service jobs and assist with vendor or contractor communication.
  • Assist sales and engineering teams with proposal preparation and client-facing documentation as needed.
  • Participate in occasional site visits or coordination tasks at customer locations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or a related discipline).
  • 2–4 years of working experience in an engineering administrative or technical support function.
  • Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment or industrial plant environment is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong skills in document control, formatting, and report generation.
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail, coordination, and follow-up capabilities.
  • Comfortable supporting teams working at diverse client sites, including alcoholic beverage manufacturers.
