The Opportunity:

Hitachi Energy Service is a trusted lifecycle partner, providing customers with secure, sustainable, and innovative service solutions globally. Our Service offerings empower customers & partners to manage the asset lifecycle—from start-of-life (e.g., Install & Commission), through operational-life strengthening (e.g., Upgrade, Repair & Extend), to end-of-life activities (e.g., Replace & Decommission). How you’ll make an impact:

  1. You will formulate and implement sales strategies to increase market share and growth, identify potential business opportunities across channels and industry segments, and analyze customer needs and calculations.
  2. You will prepare offers, quotations, and proposals aligned with company financial and contractual terms to meet sales targets and KPIs.
  3. You will achieve sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate pricing and margins, and maintain financial KPIs for management review.
  4. You will develop contract strategies and project proposals based on policies, customer requirements, budgets, and timelines, ensuring technical standards are met.
  5. You will review, negotiate, and document contract baseline and amendments to maximize financial and operational performance, monitoring deviations and implementing necessary changes.
  6. You will ensure the timely execution of commercial activities, collaborating with technical, financial, legal teams, and clients, providing support and advice on new business opportunities with legal knowledge.
  7. You will embody Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  1. You hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. You have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sales & marketing, with a proven sales record.
  3. You have experience selling digital solutions to utilities and industry customers.
  4. You possess hands-on sales experience and excel in delivering excellent customer experiences.
  5. You demonstrate business acumen, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities.
  6. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
