Job Description

Job Purpose
Leads and manages sales activities, sales development, and establishes loyalty among customers in the designated business area to achieve sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages performance effectively. Directs, evaluates, and develops subordinate managers or purchasing staff, when applicable.
  • Creates and implements segment, category, or regional strategies in close cooperation with internal networks.
  • Contributes to the development of the organization's overall supply and logistics strategy; establishes purchasing budgets, plans, policies, systems, and procedures to meet strategic objectives.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and capitalizes on opportunities to reduce procurement costs by improving purchasing patterns and supply channels.
  • Evaluates, negotiates, and manages complex and/or strategically important supplier and vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and conditions for Konecranes.
  • Maintains awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all safety aspects and generating sales to meet the budget.
  • Collaborates across functions according to sales and marketing strategies.
  • Performs any other duties as directed by superiors.

Business Impact and Complexity:
Leads a small team of sales personnel within a product/service area of standard complexity, making operational decisions impacting results.

Development and Innovation:
Develops and enhances current working methods.
