This position reports to

Operations Manager - BL Excitation (AMEA)

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the service strategy and drive service growth at the respective unit level. You will lead the Service organization and be responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and optimize the utilization of Service resources. You will also run the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improve service productivity. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-Onsite. This role contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries Excitation Business for Asia, based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating and implementing service strategy as a member of the management team.
• Ensuring strategic plans are executed in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses.
• Driving, implementing, reporting, and monitoring performance targets related to P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence).
• Managing the day-to-day service business with proper resource planning for profitable growth and improved service productivity.
• Investing in enhancing existing service products and developing new ones to expand the portfolio in line with global directions.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in HSE and quality to achieve service excellence.
• Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention.
• Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and regulations within your area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical, power electronics, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in service management within the power generation and Oil & Gas industries.
• Proven experience in implementing and leading service strategies with P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing a team of service engineers and service jobs.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel across the region.
• Experience managing multicultural teams across Asia is preferred.
