Job Summary:

The Service Leader - Stewarding is responsible for supervising the daily activities of the stewarding team. This role ensures that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and areas are cleaned and sanitized according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations, ensuring kitchen equipment, China, glassware, and flatware are cleaned and sanitized to high standards.

Monitor cleanliness in stewarding areas, including dishwashing, storage, and garbage disposal.

Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and assist with stock replenishment.

Enforce hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Oversee waste disposal, ensuring environmental and safety guidelines are followed.

Report equipment malfunctions to the Chief Steward for prompt resolution.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in Stewarding or a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safety protocols.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
