Position: Service Leader - Human Resources

As our Service Leader - Human Resources, your responsibilities include:

  1. Assist in administering and enforcing Human Resources policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the property.
  2. Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates for Service Leader and Service Associate positions based on criteria.
  3. Maintain records of tenancy agreements and service contracts, including terms and regulations.
  4. Oversee the maintenance and updating of personal files.
  5. Document staff movements within the hotel, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
  6. Plan and coordinate engaging monthly staff activities, promote employee welfare programs, and assist in recognition programs.
  7. Manage employee welfare, including facilities, hostels, and addressing concerns.
  8. Provide excellent service to internal customers following Shangri-La Rasa Sayang standards.
  9. Take on responsibilities of the Human Resources officer.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Degree/Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Human Resources, or relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience.
  3. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both oral and written.
  4. Timely and efficient in performing duties.
  5. Professional, positive attitude, and high service standards.
  6. Strong relationships with hotel departments.
  7. Proficient in office software and equipment.
  8. Confident, tactful team player.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  10. Proactive problem-solver and self-starter.
  11. Only Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible due to work permit restrictions.
