Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field technician to service Trane chillers and HVAC equipment on-site in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, lead a small team, and liaise with customers and contractors to deliver reliable climate solutions.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering and at least two years’ experience. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits; an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in chiller systems or air-conditioning.
• Must have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing of Trane chillers and other HVAC equipment.
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance for chillers and related equipment.
• Lead a team of technicians to fulfill assigned jobs.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve complaints cases.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors in job coordination.
• Assist in schedule planning and prepare technical analysis reports.

Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing of Trane chillers & other HVAC equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance for chillers and related equipment
• Have basic knowledge of overhaul & start up jobs on Trane chillers
• Could be assigned to lead a team of technicians to fulfill jobs assigned
• Liaising with customers to resolve complaints cases
• Coordination with vendors and contractors in job coordination
• Assist or involve in schedule planning & prepare technical analysis reports for management’s review
• Ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards
• Able to assess team member performance and recommend for rewards and punishments as per attitude, skills and performance.
• Manage and satisfy Customer by providing quality service and delivering our promises
• Any other duties as deemed necessary from times to times

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in Chiller Systems/ Air-conditioning
• Positive attitude
