Job description

Our chemical MNC client is looking for a Technical Service Engineer to provide technical solutions and product-related support to internal teams and customers. Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of equipment in the Technical Service Laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support product applications in defined market segments using existing and new technologies.
  • Create and implement secure, efficient, and customer-friendly application guidelines.
  • Conduct product testing and evaluation both in-house and at customer sites.
  • Ensure products and systems meet application requirements and remain fit for use.
  • Prepare technical documentation in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Provide product training and application guidance to the sales team.
  • Train and support customers on product usage and application.
  • Lead and perform field testing in line with corporate technical guidelines.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional/ corporate teams to obtain technical support and guidance.

Skills and Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelors Degree in any related Engineering field.
  • 1-2 years of working experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a good team player.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to travel (70%)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is an added advantage.
