About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Engineer to join our team at HLM Machinery Sdn Bhd in Bintulu, Sarawak. As a full-time Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our after-sales service operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective machinery servicing and maintenance.

What you'll be doing

Oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate service schedules, and allocate resources effectively.

Supervise repair progress and ensure warranty compliance according to SANY guidelines.

Provide technical guidance and training to the service team; develop and implement improvement plans.

Monitor workshop performance against KPIs, manage budgets, and prepare operational reports for management.

Maintain confidentiality of all company information and ensure it is not disclosed improperly.

Coordinate service activities not only in Kuching but also for subsidiaries and other branches as required.

Liaise with China manufacturers for technical matters and support.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

Proficiency in Mandarin (able to liaise with suppliers from China)

Possession of a valid Class D driving license

Strong technical knowledge in hydraulic, engine, and electrical systems

Good planning, leadership, and communication skills

Able to work independently and travel to sites when necessary
