Company Background:

We are representing one of a well known Pastry Cafe and as they are expanding, they are looking for Branch Managerto be based in JB.

Job Description:

  • Recruiting, interviewing and training staff to follow restaurant procedures
  • Greeting and advising customers
  • Maintaining safety and food quality standards
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation
  • Promoting and marketing the business.
  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
  • Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
  • Keeping statistical and financial records.
  • Assessing and improving profitability
  • Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant
  • Keeping customers happy, getting their feedback on the experience and handling complaints
  • Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees hours and recording payroll data
  • Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
  • Supervising daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
  • Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
  • Appraising staff performance and disciplining or retraining employees to correct poor performance

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum possess adiploma/bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience as assistant manager or restaurant manager.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have experience running at least a 60-seat restaurant.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry and market trends.
  • Willing to work on weekend and rotation shift
