Service & Application Engineer (EMS / Semiconductor Industry)

Company Background: Our Client is a well-established Company specializing in providing Components and Machineries for Electronics and Semiconductor industries. They are currently looking for a well experienced Service & Application Engineer with strong technical skills relating to SMT / Semiconductor Machineries.

Work Location: Office based in Johor Bahru, Travelling to client sites within Southern region.

Job Responsibilities

1. To perform installation, set up and commissioning for SMT Machineries at customer sites, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
2. To provide training sessions for customers on machine operation, setting, programming, functionality, and maintenance practices.
3. To provide relevant technical support on machineries issues through remote troubleshooting for ad hoc cases and arrange for onsite visit if extensive troubleshooting / repair solutions required.
4. To build and maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring timely service, technical guidance, and professional communication.
5. To liaise and maintain good connection with suppliers as well as coordinating on up-to-date technical input.
6. To provide technical and service support to branch offices or head offices when required.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
2. Have at least 3 years of experience on hands-on installation, servicing and troubleshooting of SMT / Semiconductor Machineries.
3. Strong technical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and suppliers.
5. Willing to travel to customer sites for technical installation and support works as needed.
