Job summary

A leading automotive service provider is seeking an Automotive Service Adviser to facilitate customer service and vehicle maintenance. This role involves setting appointments, documenting repair needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the servicing process. Candidates should have a strong automotive background, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to succeed in this dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Center.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is a plus.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Set up appointments and ensure a pleasant reception for customers.
  • Document repair needs and monitor work progress.
  • Conduct final checks and explain work done to customers.

Job description

  • Properly set up an appointment for customers.
  • Ensure a smooth and pleasant reception.
  • Accurately document the repair needs by explaining the work to be done and carefully listening to the customer's requests.
  • Monitor work progress consistently.
  • Perform a final check during vehicle delivery by conducting an on-vehicle inspection of the completed work.
  • Clearly explain the work done to the customer during vehicle delivery.
  • Conduct post-servicing follow-up.
  • Promote sales of parts or services by professionally recommending or suggesting additional or preventive maintenance/parts replacements to customers during repair or scheduled maintenance visits.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess an Automotive/Mechanical qualification with SPM/MLVK/Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Center.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service etiquette.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is an advantage.
  • Computer literate (Word & Excel) with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate effectively with team members.
