Overview

The Service Advisor acts as the main liaison between customers and the service department. The role is responsible for understanding customer concerns, preparing accurate repair orders, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring that customers receive timely updates and high-quality service. The Service Advisor plays a key role in achieving customer satisfaction and supporting the company’s after-sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms or service requests.
  • Provide clear explanations of recommended maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the service process.
  • Open and manage repair orders in the system.
  • Coordinate with technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to confirm customer satisfaction after service.
  • Advise customers on additional services or preventive maintenance.
  • Prepare cost estimates and obtain customer approval before work begins.
  • Promote service packages, warranties, and special offers.
  • Update customer records and vehicle history in the system.
  • Prepare invoices and handle payments accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service reception area.
Requirements
