Role Summary
As the SEO Content Marketing Lead, you will take ownership of KKday’s blog content strategy with a mission to scale high-quality, engaging travel content that drives organic traffic and user engagement. Your top priority will be to plan, produce, and manage blog content that inspires travelers while aligning with search intent and KKday’s commercial goals.
You will also lead the execution of SEO best practices to ensure strong visibility on search engines, and use AI automation tools to streamline content operations and scale production without compromising quality.
This full-time role is ideal for a bilingual English-Mandarin content expert with strong editorial instincts, a proven SEO track record, and hands-on experience using AI-powered tools like ChatGPT.
Key Responsibilities
1. Blog, PR Content Development
- Lead the editorial calendar, ideation, and production of travel-related blog content to support KKday’s brand and organic traffic goals.
- Write, edit, and publish articles that resonate with target audiences across different regions and travel verticals.
- Collaborate with freelance writers, editors, and consultants to deliver consistent, high-quality content that reflects KKday’s tone and voice.
- Ensure all blog content meets quality standards in accuracy, storytelling, formatting, and reader engagement.
2. SEO Strategy & Product Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and search trend analysis to inform content planning and prioritization.
- Optimize on-page SEO for all blog posts (metadata, internal linking, headings, etc.) and ensure alignment with SEO goals.
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Search Console and Ahrefs, and refine strategy based on traffic, CTR, and rankings.
- Work closely with SEO and product teams to align blog content with key landing pages and campaigns.
3. AI-Driven Content Automation
- Build and maintain content automation workflows.
- Use AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) to assist with content drafts, research, and repurposing tasks.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose long-form blog posts into bite-sized content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and email.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with marketing and product stakeholders to ensure content aligns with business priorities.
- Track and analyze content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, time on page, conversions) to inform continuous improvement.
- Report content ROI and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in blog content development, editorial, or SEO content marketing roles.
- Solid command of English and Mandarin (written and spoken) with experience in creating bilingual content.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in using AI content generation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) and automation platforms (e.g., Make.com, Relevance AI, n8n).
- Experience managing freelancers or agency writers and providing clear editorial direction.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, or equivalent tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
