Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Wireline Senior Operator is responsible to work in a Wireline field team, with high motivation to ensure safe and efficient execution of the wireline logging unit and other wireline related tool/equipment at the service location, which including rigging up/down the wireline tools and equipment (PCE/MAST) (as applicable).
• Works under the direction of the Field Engineer/Supervisor/Crew Chief, leading the relevant tasks including to assemble/disassemble the perforating guns and wireline toolstrings, redressing the tools and equipment, according to the established standards and guidelines.
• Experienced in operating the cable winch system with tension meter, monitor the appropriate cable speed, depth, and cable re-spooling process by adhering to the Depth Control Policy.
• Understand and able to perform the preventive maintenance on the basic equipment and able to fix the field repairable tools or equipment to continue and support the operation.
• Able to conduct the technical training related to Wireline operation, to train new operators in knowledge sharing session.
• Assists the Field Engineer/Crew Chief in the operational checks, troubleshooting, reproduce the failure on surface and to calibrate the tool/gauges, equipment, and unit. Performs other related duties as assigned in safe and effective manner.
• Comply and adhere to the established Competency Matrix, strive at best efforts and able to focus to the career development and growth in the organization, and persistently maintaining the validity of the required certification related to the operation.
• Comply with the company HSE, Quality, Internal process and UzmaWay especially Integrity.
• Attend and participate actively in safety event or programs from Uzma and multiple Clients.
• Diligent attitude towards good safety culture in self and surrounding.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years’ experiences in the field related to Wireline cased hole operations – Logging and perforation.
• Excellent and effective team player.
• Working efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to work and communicate well with customers and employees.
• High level mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to utilize computers for communication, reporting and other work-related purpose.
• Highly experienced and competencies of technical knowledge on basic/surface equipment.
• Willing to base in Labuan and travel/work to Kemaman, Miri, Bintulu and/or Kota Kinabalu for short term assignments, onshore and offshore (if required).
• Junior position is available, fresh graduate is welcomed to apply.
• Proficient in communication and writing in both English and Malay.
