Overview

• 24 x 7 availability to attend critical system issues
• Under minimal supervision partner with other teams to plan, coordinate, design, configure, Install, and maintain Intel based systems.
• Review, maintain and monitor system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure new server hardware and operation system
• Perform patching and updates on server OS and Hardware
• Review and enforce security and server policy.
• Involve in Problem log, RCA, Problem Management log
• Act as technical project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration.
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure hardware and software are delivered/configured according to specification.

Qualifications

• Requirement Higher Dip or Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology / Engineering / telecommunications network or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• 5 or more years of experience on Microsoft Windows Operating System, VMware vSphere, and Nutanix - Design, Deployment and maintenance.
• Server Hardware OS Installation and troubleshoot (Rack Mount Servers, Local RAID Setup, Firmware upgrades, Blade Server Concept, Parts Replacement)
• Server OS troubleshoot (Memory Dump, Network Trace, Performance Counters)
• Windows Server OS Maintenance (OS clean up, Windows Updates and Patches)
• Operation System Installation and configuration (Windows Cluster Setup, Internet Information Services, Remote Desktop Services)
• Intermedium knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (User Creation, GPO settings, DNS,)
• Knowledge of Network Concepts (DNS, DHCP, Routing, IP, Load balancing, VLAN)
• Servers Virtualization Concepts (Virtual Machines, Hypervisor)
• Servers Virtualization knowledge (Create VMS, Perform Snapshot, Change Virtual Machines Settings, Perform P2V migration)
• Experience with Windows patching procedures (WSUS or SCCM)
