Job summary

Xsolla is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong Web3 experience to join its engineering team. You will own end-to-end quality for Web3-enabled gaming commerce features, validating distributed systems and ensuring seamless user experiences across wallets and smart contracts.

The role combines manual and API testing with AI-assisted tools, collaborates with DevOps on CI/CD, and mentors junior QA engineers while promoting best testing practices in hybrid blockchain architectures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA with end-to-end ownership.
• 2+ years in Web3/blockchain testing.
• Strong API validation using REST/Postman.
• Experience with Jira, Git, and dev tools.
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Web3 & Wallet Testing: Lead manual and exploratory testing of Web3 features, wallet connection flows, and decentralized authentication/identity layers.
• Smart Contract & On-Chain Validation: Test smart contract interactions, on-chain/off-chain data synchronization, transaction signing, gas limits, and node RPC event handling.
• API & System Verification: Conduct deep API-level testing using Postman or similar tools to validate data payloads, error handling, and high-throughput backend services.
• AI-Assisted QA Workflows: Evaluate and integrate AI-powered testing tools (automated test generation, intelligent log analysis, visual regression, and defect prioritization).
• CI/CD & Environments: Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage across staging pipelines, CI/CD jobs, and smart contract upgrade deployments.
• Defect Triage & Observability: Monitor production logs, blockchain explorers, and analytics dashboards to isolate anomalies, filing precise and reproducible bug reports in Jira.
• Quality Advocacy & Mentorship: Champion best testing practices for hybrid and decentralized architectures while mentoring junior QA engineers across sprint cycles.
