Senior Web Full Stack Engineer

Salt is looking to hire a Senior Web Full Stack Engineer for one of our technology clients in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a 6-month contract role which is extendable or can convert to permanent headcount.

About the Job: You will develop software within product delivery/systems/platform teams, contributing to engineering quality, coaching and mentoring entry-level Software Engineers, and demonstrating passion for your craft through user-centric, reliable, and scalable solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Has created and maintained software in two or more modern software development languages.
• Experience with the design, development, support, and maintenance of cloud-first (AWS) applications.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Experience with logging and monitoring/alerting.
• Demonstrated experience consistently writing well-tested, readable software, using secure coding practices, current patterns, and tooling.
• Experience applying and improving continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong experience with Design Patterns and Data Modelling.
• Must have: Typescript, React, GraphQL, CloudWatch, AWS knowledge, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB.
