We’re currently looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, TTS Ops Head - MYS Citibank Berhad (Internal Job Title: Cash & Trade Proc Group Manager - C14) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The TTS Client Operations (CO) Head role is a critical position responsible for leading multiple teams through managers and regional partners, with the objective of executing business imperatives, delivering superior client experience, achieving financial and productivity targets, and implementing local, regional and global strategies.

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Actively engage with businesses and functions to provide strategic direction from a TTS Client Operations perspective
  • Develop, implement and manage the strategy; monitor its effectiveness
  • Plan for short- and long-term needs of the O&T organization related to human resources, client experience, processes, risk and controls
  • Develop a senior, best-in-class direct staff team
  • Establish succession planning and strong back-ups for all key/critical roles
  • Lead and coordinate all operations functions, including oversight of outsourced processes, with a focus on efficiency and quality
  • Maintain high-quality customer service through O&T processes and platforms and monitor customer satisfaction
  • Align O&T resources with business requirements
  • Explore and develop themes within O&T such as regionalization, straight-through processing and outsourcing
  • Maintain a strong control and compliance environment adaptable to regulatory changes
  • Proactively raise issues and address O&T issues through Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and tracking
  • Maintain permanent controls readiness and support satisfactory audits across auditable O&T entities
  • Minimize operating losses through proactive risk and control processes
  • Foster a positive working environment, measured by VOE and related indicators; monitor and reduce turnover
  • Lead major programs and complex projects, including regulatory and business initiatives
  • Manage outsourcing governance, including monitoring controls, quality, costs and data provision
  • Take responsibility for local regulatory reporting and the Regulatory control matrix, implementing changes to laws affecting the business area
  • Collaborate with country stakeholders to define an effective crisis management plan and ensure COB plan maintenance and testing
  • Work with stakeholders to execute business and operations imperatives
  • Resolve escalated issues and balance conflicting needs
  • Collaborate with the ASEAN TTS Ops Cluster lead on cluster-level strategy execution
  • Assess risk with a focus on Citi’s reputation and safeguarding clients and assets; drive compliance with laws and regulations; escalate and manage control issues; supervise others and uphold ethical standards

  • 10+ years of experience in a people or functional line management role
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills
  • Project management/execution and delivery experience
  • Experience delivering results and meeting financial plans

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
