A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Head of HR to serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team. Responsibilities include aligning HR initiatives with business strategies, overseeing workforce planning, and driving organisational transformation. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years in HR leadership, with strong expertise in strategic HR practices and stakeholder management.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all people-related matters.
Align HR initiatives with business strategies to support growth, innovation, and long-term success.
Provide data-driven workforce insights for business planning and decision-making.
Lead organisation-wide diagnostics and drive interventions to strengthen culture, leadership capability, and performance.
Act as sponsor for transformation and digitalisation initiatives, ensuring successful stakeholder engagement and adoption.
Build change leadership capabilities and foster resilience across the organisation.
Oversee workforce planning to ensure the right skills and capabilities for current and future needs.
Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, mobility, and succession planning strategies.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Drive employee engagement, recognition, and wellness programs.
Ensure fair resolution of employee relations issues while upholding organisational values.
Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs.
Lead performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
Provide data insights on performance, retention, and top talent.
Ensure HR practices comply with labour laws and ethical standards.
Lead audits, policy updates, and risk assessments.
Drive digital HR transformation through effective use of HRIS and analytics tools.
Leverage data for strategic workforce planning and employee experience improvements.
Partner with internal leaders to co-create people initiatives.
Represent the organisation with external stakeholders including regulators, industry bodies, and educational institutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Master’s degree or professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, IHRP) preferred.
Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive/Head of HR role.
Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, organisational transformation, and business partnership with C-suite.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR governance, and risk management.
Demonstrated success in talent management, change management, and culture transformation.
Experience in designing compensation frameworks, driving performance culture, and leveraging HR technology/analytics.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, challenge, and lead change.
