EC-Council is seeking a Cyber Security Senior Consultant in Kuala Lumpur to deliver VAPT engagements, advisory services, incident response, and forensics. The role requires hands-on testing across web, mobile, network, and infrastructure, plus clear, professional reporting.

The position involves collaborating with clients, traveling to sites as required, and continuously updating skills. A proactive, detail‑oriented professional will thrive in this client‑facing role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in VAPT or cyber security.
• Professional certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CPENT, GPEN or equivalent are an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience in web application, mobile, network and infrastructure penetration testing.
• Familiarity with OWASP, NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Proficiency with testing tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly.
• Willingness to travel or work on client sites.

Aufgaben

• Conduct and deliver Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing engagements for clients.
• Provide Cyber Security Advisory, Technical Consulting and Technical Assessment services.
• Support and deliver Incident Response, Investigation, Forensics and Compromise Assessment engagements.
• Conduct Cyber Drills and Technical Trainings for clients.
• Produce high-quality, professional reports and other deliverables.
• Continuously improve personal skills and knowledge with new threats and tools.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the superior.
