Job summary

Webby Group in Malaysia is seeking a senior UI/UX designer to lead end-to-end projects across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. You will translate complex requirements into clear, scalable experiences and collaborate with product, tech, and AI teams to ensure usable solutions.

You will leverage AI-powered tools and Figma design systems to accelerate research, wireframing, prototyping, and iteration, and mentor junior designers while presenting concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web, mobile, and enterprise design.
• Strong knowledge of user-centred design, UX, UI, and usability.
• Proficient in Figma and design systems.
• Experience using or learning AI design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX/UI projects from problem discovery to final design delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate research, ideation, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and design exploration.
• Develop user journeys, information architecture, and intuitive interaction flows.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, AI, and Engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and user-focused.

• Work with Figma, design systems, and component libraries to ensure design consistency and efficiency.

• Present design concepts and decisions clearly to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Use prototypes and AI-assisted simulations to validate ideas before development.
• Identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, efficiency, and overall user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging AI tools, technologies, and design workflows to continuously improve the design process.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, UX, UI, usability, and design systems.
• Proficient in Figma and experienced with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience designing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Able to translate complex requirements into clear and intuitive user experiences.
• Comfortable using or learning AI tools for research, ideation, prototyping, and design iteration.
• Able to critically evaluate AI-generated ideas using strong design judgement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Able to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements.
• Takes ownership of projects from concept through final delivery.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
• Able to collaborate effectively with clients, developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior designers is a plus.
