Job summary

Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad seeks a strategic Senior UI/UX Designer to drive end-to-end product experience across the Bank Islam Digital Channel. This role emphasizes design systems, experience consistency, and mentoring junior designers while collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

The candidate will lead design across touchpoints, translate needs into scalable solutions, and own the design system to ensure quality across experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in Design, Multimedia, IT or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in UI/UX or related field/industry.
• Strong portfolio of related projects.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design across Bank Islam Digital Channel and related touchpoints.
• Translate business and user needs into intuitive design solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Own and maintain the design system, including standards and design patterns.
• Establish and enforce design guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment and quality.
• Mentor and guide junior designers and interns.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Leverage user research, feedback, and data to improve experience.

About you

• Degree in Design, Multimedia, IT or any related field with 5-10 years experience in related field/industry
• Experienced as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio of related projects
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
• Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions
• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
