Job summary

Wolfspeed Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a manufacturing process professional to drive improvements across power product fabrication. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability, yield and reliability, ramp new products, and guide process changes from R&D to production.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, a BSc in a relevant engineering field, and strong problem-solving using FMEA, SPC and DOE. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and JMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Process or Industrial Engineering or Applied Science.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing field with demonstrated ability to drive improvements.
• Experience delivering results in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive improvements in manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability for power products.
• Lead or assist in setting up equipment, production lines and processes; implement process changes.
• Participate in reviews to ensure design for manufacturability best practices are followed.
• Ramp new products released from R&D while monitoring performance and driving improvements.
• Create and update detailed documentation for processes and procedures.
• Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.
• Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
• Work with contract manufacturing engineering, manufacturing personnel and suppliers.
• Prevent quality excursions; monitor process performance and analyze data to detect anomalies.
• Identify and implement items for improvement including upgrades to equipment and processes.
