Job summary

A leading technology company in Penang is seeking a Senior Test Equipment Technician. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency through hands-on troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance oversight. Candidates should possess a diploma in mechanical or electronic engineering and relevant experience with semiconductor testing equipment.

Qualifications

• More than 1 year of working experience is encouraged.
• Good understanding of semiconductor testing equipment processes.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, setup, and buyoff of test equipment.
• Sustain equipment uptime with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled PM as per plan.
• Equipment setup and conversion.
• Manage spare parts/tools/meters.
• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment for checkouts.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.

As aTest Equipment Technician, youare responsible forthe installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Sustain and improve key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Test equipment transfer, setup and buyoff, and support for manufacturing ramp up
• Responsible for sustain equipment uptime, with hand ontrouble shooting on the equipment
• Perform and complete the scheduled PM as per plan
• Perform equipment setup, buyoff, and conversion
• Work on spare part/tools/meters management
• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

Requirements:-

• Diploma in mechanical engineering & Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Highly motivated individuals with more than1 year working experience are encouraged to apply
• Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes. In-depth knowledge & hands on experience will be a plus point.
• A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
