Job summary

Western Digital Corporation seeks an experienced maintenance professional to set up, troubleshoot, and optimize test equipment and production lines in a high-precision environment. You will lead CIP projects, resolve downtime, and ensure product quality through robust preventive maintenance.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Mechanical with 2-5 years in manufacturing maintenance, plus PLC basics and instrument troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics and Mechanical required.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with PLC basics and troubleshooting automation/controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and recover complex downtime issues for test equipment with minimal supervision.
• Lead and support Continuous Improvement Projects to improve equipment performance and OEE.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Testcell yield issues to maintain product quality and equipment stability.
• Conduct investigations for quality incidents related to test equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, and optimization to support production and engineering requirements.
• Monitor KPIVs and analyze trends to drive equipment improvement actions.
• Drive equipment upgrades, automation improvements, reliability enhancements and CIP projects.
• Act as a technical trainer and mentor for test equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and checklist verification.
• Support engineers in daily technical activities, machine evaluations, qualifications, and special projects.
