Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or diploma-equivalent in engineering discipline.
• Good understanding of semiconductor testing equipment processes.
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuild equipment as required and support ramp-up.
• Maintain uptime through proactive troubleshooting and PMs.
• Set up, buyoff, and convert equipment when needed.
• Manage spare parts, tools and meters inventory.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process


• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings


• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts


• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required


• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers


• Responsible for Test equipment transfer, setup and buyoff, and support for manufacturing ramp up


• Responsible for sustain equipment uptime, with hand on trouble shooting on the equipment


• Perform and complete the scheduled PM as per plan


• Perform equipment setup, buyoff, and conversion


• Work on spare part/tools/meters management

Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical engineering & Electronic/Electrical Engineering


• Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes


• In-depth knowledge & hands on experience will be a plus point


• A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming, or Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus


• Experience using Generative AI, AI Assistant, or other AI-Enabled tools is preferred
