Job summary

A leading automotive service provider is seeking a skilled technician with a diploma in Automotive/Mechanical. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience and be proficient in conducting maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance service following the Workshop Job Controller's allocation.
• Perform major maintenance or repairs as needed.

Job description

Possess at least Professional Certificate (e.g SKM Level 1, 2 or 3) or relevant qualification.

Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical or equivalent.

Preferably candidate with minimum 3 year of related working experience.

Able to conduct minor and major service jobs with basic trouble shooting skill.

Able to work closely under a team spirit.

Able to use the basic diagnostic tools and general repair tools.

Able to communicate with customers and internal staffs in a professional manner.

Able to work with minimum supervision and under pressure.

Able to work on Saturday.

Willing to work at Kota Kemuning , Selangor Darul Ehsan

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance service in accordance to allocation by Workshop Job Controller.

Conduct major maintenance or repair.

Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting.

Assist Service Advisor in inspection.

Ensure job carried out using appropriate general mechanic hand tools and special service tools (SST).

Assist Service Manager to do warranty investigation.

Ensure working area and surrounding is always clean and free from clutter.

Ensure responsible and good quality job within the Honda standards in order to reduce / eliminate any come back jobs.

Conduct One Round Inspection (“ORI”) on every single vehicle.

Learn and conduct Preventive Maintenance Inspection.

Assist in conducting on-site service at customers’ premise/workshop if necessary.

Attend trainings as and when being assigned by the Service Manager.

Handle ad-hoc tasks that assigned by supervisor/manager.
