Job description

Conduct thorough inspections and advanced diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical malfunctions. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other critical vehicle components.

Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance services, including engine tune-ups, fluid changes, tire rotation, and filter replacements

Verify vehicle serviceability by performing rigorous tests and adjustments, ensuring all repairs meet stringent safety and combustion control standards.

Maintain all workshop equipment in peak operational condition through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to operating instructions.

Accurately log all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, to maintain detailed service records.

Listen attentively to operator complaints and translate them into actionable repair plans, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

Uphold housekeeping standards within the workshop, ensuring a safe and organised work environment.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in Automotive/Mechanical, or an equivalent technical qualification.

Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician in a professional car workshop environment.

Proven expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a wide range of continental car brands (e.g., Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, etc.). Experience with other car makes (Japanese, Korean) is a plus.

Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and software specific to various car manufacturers, especially continental models.

Highly responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers, and to comprehend service/repair orders.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
