Job description

Academics:

• Have a valid SPM Certificate and pass all subjects.
• Have a certificate or diploma in engineering, manufacturing or equivalent.

Experiences:

• Have 5 years of working experiences in the field of plastic product manufacturing, engineering, manufacturing process based on medical product production or equivalent.
• Have experience, knowledge and skills in the product production process as well as the maintenance of production machines on the production floor.
• Ever attended a course related to the product production process as well as production machine maintenance.

Skills:

• Able to communicate well in Malay and understand basic English.
• Have basic knowledge and skills in the product production process as well as machine maintenance on the production floor.
• Have knowledge and mathematical calculation skills.
• Have knowledge and skills in using computer software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Have knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO, Kaizen and 5S.
• Have knowledge in using 7QC Tools.

Responsibilities:

• Helping to ensure that the production machine is fully operational for the product production process, including ensuring the correct machine settings, machine repair actions, prevention and improvement are carried out as well as ensuring optimal machine conditions for an efficient production process.
• Help take data, update records, and make reports related to machines and production processes.
• Helping the process of tests and supervision related to products, molds, and machines.
• Assist in the improvement process carried out on machines and processes as well as assist in the follow-up process for quality and process issues through the implementation of 5S activities, autonomous maintenance, statistical process control, ICC and so on.
• Helping to implement scheduled preventive maintenance so that the condition of production machines is always in optimal condition on the production floor.
• Responsible for ensuring that equipment, jigs, and support machines for the use of the Production Engineering Section are maintained on time and stored properly based on established procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the office area and ensuring that the cleanliness and safety conditions of the work area and the factory are under control.
• Responsible for complying with the instructions and laws set by the company.
• Responsible for always dressing neatly and taking care of the Selia-Tek Group's image.
• Responsible for performing other related tasks as directed by the Senior Manager.
