Qualifications & experience

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

At least five (5) years of working experience in a consultancy environment.

Positive attitude, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.

Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrate capability in meeting new challenges and in a fast-paced environment.

Strong design ability with good engineering knowledge and attention to details.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Experience in concrete and structural steel structures design.

A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor, guide and coach junior colleagues.

A drive for precision, excellent analytical skills and a quality-oriented mindset.

Understanding of Building Information Modelling.

Tasks & responsibilities

Act as a Structure Engineer for on-going and potential projects.

Responsible for overseeing and introducing technical vision to the Company's structure design standard.

Provide technical expertise for construction projects with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating technical assignments, ensuring that standards and procedures are adhered to and recommending process improvements.

Perform all phases of C&S work.

Develop conceptual structural designs and structural general arrangements/layouts for preliminary designs.

Work closely with the team to ensure smooth delivery of project and successful handover to Client.

To perform structure analysis, design, calculation and technical specifications shop drawing submission.

To liaise with other design team/consultants on design and coordination issues.

To liaise with relevant authority for submission.

Maintain and manage all the drawings, documents, and other related data in an organized manner.

Keep up-to-date with the latest digital technology, trends, solutions and providers to keep the Company competitive.

Any other work as instructed from time to time.
