Standard Chartered is looking for an IT Systems Administrator with at least 7 years of experience in Windows and MAC OS environments. The role involves providing expert support, managing incidents, and enhancing IT service delivery while ensuring compliance with security protocols and performing system upgrades. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong skills in scripting with PowerShell. • Provide expert support for Windows OS/Apps/ MAC OS, ensuring stability and security across systems. ( Windows 10/11 & MAC OS)
• Experienced app conversion and migration using PowerShell scripts.
• Experienced in Intune, MSIX, PowerShell
• Develop and maintain scripts (using PowerShell, Python, etc) to automate IT tasks, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
• Familiarize with Azure DevOps (ADO) and able automate tasks within ADO.
• Handle low priority incidents quickly and effectively, minimizing user disruption.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to IT services, enhancing system performance and user experience.
• Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and processes for team reference and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor system health, performing checks to prevent potential issues and reduce incidents.
• Support security protocols and compliance measures, especially within Windows OS environments.
• Coordinate and perform system upgrades and patch management, ensuring systems remain secure and up-to-date.

Workplace Services – Workplace Technologies is responsible for the technology used by all SCB staff ranging from Windows OS / MAC desktop, Application Hosting/Packaging, etc
Business
• Manage and deliver root cause analysis of complex technical challenges
• Troubleshoot various desktop and application issues impacting end user experience
• Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
• Partner with product management, development and engineering leaders to develop solutions to bolster the end user experience
• Design and execute usability studies utilizing your broad knowledge of user experience and methodological expertise
• Deliver automated solutions to large enterprise environments

People & Talent
1. Years of Experience
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT systems administration, with a focus on Windows OS, MAC OS, Azure AD, and On-Prem AD environments & Security – AppLocker, AD GPOs, etc
• Proven experience with incident management, scripting, and continuous service improvement.
2. Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered for candidates with significant expertise.
3. Technical Qualifications and Certifications
• Microsoft Certifications (preferred):
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• ITIL Certification (preferred): ITIL Foundation or higher, to support understanding of IT service management.
• Scripting Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with PowerShell scripting (other scripting languages like Python are a plus).
4. Additional Skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent documentation skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and security best practices within AD, Windows and MAC environments.
Risk Management
Ensure Windows & MAC Desktop operations comply to Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), Operation Risk Framework (ORF), Information and Cyber Security Risk (ICS) as well as any other applicable policies, standards, and processes for the Bank.
