Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst responsible for maintaining live applications, managing technical and functional defects, problems, and changes. The role involves working with hosted and on-prem solutions, collaborating with a team of Technical Analysts, Database Administrators, and other IT professionals to investigate, manage, and resolve client queries. You will support the building, implementation, and maintenance of new client systems, provide guidance and mentorship to team members, and handle technical aspects such as implementation, automation, resiliency, and application security. You will also be accountable for the applications within your domain.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Management & Admin
  2. Meeting own objectives and providing technical guidance to team members.
  3. Collaborating with the Service Operations Manager to improve functions and identify revenue opportunities.

Technical and Functional

  1. Understanding end-to-end infrastructure and application ecosystem.
  2. Resolving production issues promptly and effectively.
  3. Engaging with clients to understand requirements and designing solutions.
  4. Researching and designing automated support solutions.
  5. Implementing technical service improvements and advising clients on upgrades and new components.
  6. Acting as SME for at least one product.

Customer Management

  1. Providing excellent customer service and incident management within SLAs.
  2. Supporting applications in both managed service and client environments.
  3. Investigating production issues and documenting resolutions.
  4. Providing out-of-hours support as part of the on-call team.

Knowledge Sharing

  1. Mentoring team members for continuous knowledge growth.
  2. Staying informed about new technological advances and proposing their adoption.
  3. Contributing to continual service improvements and support excellence.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL databases
  • Basic knowledge of Java
  • Experience with web services
  • Previous experience in a production support environment, client-facing role
