Job summary

Linden Kindergarten is seeking a Senior Teacher (Team Lead) to join its growing, play-based, trilingual school. You will lead a small group of teachers, help set up policies, environment, and resources, and play a pivotal role in shaping school culture in the early stages.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education with 4+ years of teaching experience and demonstrated leadership or mentoring ability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (required).
• At least 4 years of early childhood teaching experience (required).
• Experience leading or mentoring other teachers.
• Confidence teaching in English.
• Be part of a founding team and shape the culture of the school.
• Exposure to principal related roles for skill and career development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small teaching team through daily routines, planning and classroom practice.
• Deliver and model high-quality play-based teaching.
• Assist in the set-up stages, such as policies, physical learning environment, classroom layout and resources.
• Build a warm, positive team culture during the first year.
• Support parent communication alongside school leadership.
• Take part in enrolment activities from time to time, such as school tours and parent enquiries.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
• At least 4 years of early childhood teaching experience (required)
• Experience leading or mentoring other teachers
• Confidence teaching in English
• A warm, encouraging style with children and colleagues
• Experience with Cambridge Early Years, EYFS or KSPK is a plus
