Alliance Bank seeks a senior Tax Leader to head the Group's taxation functions in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead direct and indirect tax governance, plan tax filings, and oversee regulatory reporting while coordinating with tax authorities and auditors.

The role requires a track record of 10+ years in taxation within financial services, in-depth SST knowledge, and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or equivalent.
• Membership of a recognised professional accounting or tax body is preferred.
• More than 10 years of working experience in taxation or related functions.
• Good knowledge of SST, tax regulations and banking compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Tax governance and leadership of direct and indirect taxation functions.
• Plan, review and file corporate income tax returns and related tax documents.
• Oversee monthly provisional tax, tax provisions, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, regulators and external auditors; manage audits.
• Provide strategic tax direction and governance to protect the Bank's assets.
