Job description

The newly created role, Senior Tax Manager, will be responsible for coordinating agreed tax reporting tasks and tax projects in CNAO and ISEA geographies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax Reporting

• Coordinate and consolidate Danone's internal tax reporting, including tax rolling forecasts, ETR analysis, indirect taxes, etc., in the zone.
• Coordinate and analyze tax provisions and tax risks in the zone.

Tax Planning and Projects

• Coordinate and support legal entity simplification in the zone, including reporting, project management, supporting geo tax teams, and execution if needed.
• Support the zone tax director in M&A projects for dedicated CBUs.
• Support and coordinate cross-functional projects (including systems) in the zone.
• Support the global TP team and coordinate recurring TP reviews with Corporate based on the global schedule.
• Assist with ad-hoc TP projects and benchmark studies in the zone.

Internal Control / Learning

• Prepare and update tax position papers and SOPs to document work processes.
• Support the zone Tax Director and geo tax teams in supervising internal control procedures, and provide documentation for DanGo requirements if needed.
• Support DBS Learning & Sharing in related tax topics.

External Relationships

• Build relationships with external auditors and Danone tax consultants.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance, accounting, tax, law, or CPA/ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in dedicated tax areas, especially corporate tax, with at least 5 years in tax planning.
• Big 4 corporate tax experience is required; good understanding of international taxation.
• Experience in an MNC regional or country HQ tax department.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• SAP knowledge and strong accounting skills are a plus.
