Job summary

K-Konsult Taxation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Tax Manager (Advisory & Compliance) to lead tax advisory and compliance activities for a diverse client portfolio. The role focuses on meeting tax deadlines while maintaining high standards of integrity and professional excellence.

The successful candidate will supervise and develop a capable tax team, build strong client relationships across industries, and provide strategic tax guidance.

Qualifications

• Possess relevant accounting qualifications or currently pursuing professional examinations.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in related field.
• Team player with good technical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• High Integrity and excellent work ethics, with strong sense of responsibility, commitment and discipline.
• Good technical knowledge on tax laws, rulings and case laws is an added advantage.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin as this role will liaise with diverse clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Assume a high level of responsibilities of tax advisory and compliance controls.
• Manage portfolio of clients, job scheduling and planning to meet tax deadlines.
• Leading, managing and developing an effective tax team.
• Think strategically about client's needs by understanding their business and key risks.
• Providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis.
• Develop strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients and deliver added values.
• Ability to work independently and render all aspects of tax duties & functions.
• Provide training and coaching to tax team members.
