Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a System Security Manager to lead a security engineering team and act as the primary SME for Privileged Access Management (MasterSAM). You will harden and govern endpoints, data, and secure file transfer across the bank and regional units.

The role blends hands-on execution with governance, audit, and operational efficiency, requiring strong leadership in a banking environment and expertise in HSM, SSL management, and PAM tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 7+ years in system security engineering/operations; 2+ years in team leadership.
• Banking/financial services background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead security engineers; manage capacity and governance across teams.
• Oversee PAM MasterSAM, HSM, SSL lifecycle, and data protection.
• Ensure CIS controls, audit/RCSA compliance, and incident response SLAs.
• Coordinate regional security governance and cross-border initiatives.
• Maintain endpoint security, file transfer, and malware scanning.
