Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Participate in projects and provide support for the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Time Attendance System (T&A) within the Corporate Solutions section of the Digital Enterprise Solutions department.
Determine HRMS and T&A application requirements with the following activities:
Analyze current and future needs, and current practices of business users and stakeholders to identify solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
Provide impact analysis and advisory services.
Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), use cases, and user stories.
Plan, schedule, and document new application development and enhancements to existing applications.
Organize and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions with users.
Identify opportunities for application development improvements and create action plans.
Provide first-level application support to ensure system availability.
Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues reported by users to determine root causes and resolutions.
Collaborate with business owners, digital technology teams (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Application), and vendors in project delivery and BAU operations.
Examine and implement the best practices in application development and system maintenance.
Implement processes, development standards, and system improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
Work with the Strategy Planning & Enterprise Architecture team to define and implement application architecture.
Conduct periodic project assessments/reviews to ensure adherence to the governance framework, security controls, and architectural standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian citizen.
Pass Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field recognized by the Government.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in application development and support role in managing HRMS and Time and Attendance system.
Possess certification in HCM from Oracle or SAP, and hold certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA), as advantages.
Technical Skills
Possess strong knowledge of HRMS modules and functionalities, such as personnel management, learning and development, benefit administration, and performance management.
Have an in-depth understanding of Time and Attendance system modules and functionalities.
Familiar with HRMS processes, routing, and approval flows, including recruitment and onboarding, leave management, claims, and payroll processes.
Have knowledge of Human Resource integration approaches and methodologies with external systems, such as Time and Attendance systems, payment platforms, and other statutory systems.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of various HRMS modules and their functionalities, including the integration of the Time Attendance System with HRMS.
Demonstrate working knowledge of project management methodologies and business analysis techniques.
Experience in designing and developing process flows, user journey and wireframes.
Experience in integrating apps with enterprise backend systems, databases (MS SQL Server & Oracle), Business Process Management (BPM) or via API (REST).
Familiar and experienced with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Exhibit expertise in the business area and possess strong Human Resource skills to effectively interpret user requirements and issues.

Must be detail-oriented team players who can interact, communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to reach a shared goal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (BM), with proficiency in English as an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal abilities and the ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision.
Proactively available for tasks beyond regular hours when needed.
