The Role

We are hiring a Senior System Analyst (6–9 years experience) to support Cards & Payments platforms (CardLink / Vision Plus) in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires strong Mainframe ZOS skills (Cobol, JCL, CICS, VSAM), deep domain knowledge in Cards & Payments, and the ability to collaborate with users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system analysis, design, and development activities for CardLink, Vision Plus, or other Cards platforms.
• Work with Cobol, JCL, and CICS on Mainframe ZOS, including handling VSAM and sequential datasets.
• Collaborate with business users to understand functional requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications.
• Engage with IT departments and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, review design documents, and oversee development deliverables.
• Conduct system impact analysis, feasibility studies, and performance assessments.
• Support QA teams during testing cycles and assist in resolving defects.
• Participate in production issue analysis and provide resolutions or workarounds.
• Ensure compliance with security, operational, and audit requirements.

Ideal Profile

• 6–9 years of System Analyst experience, preferably in the Cards and Payments domain.
• Strong proficiency in Cobol, JCL, and CICS on Mainframe ZOS.
• Experience with VSAM and sequential datasets.
• Hands-on experience in CardLink or Vision Plus platforms (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and vendors.
• Good understanding of business and technical aspects of Cards and Payments systems.
