Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia in Bayan Lepas (Penang) seeks a Staff Optimization Engineer to drive supply chain planning and execution through robust optimization solutions. You will lead cross‑functional initiatives, translate business needs into scalable models, and deliver measurable impact across the organization.

Qualifications

Experience with optimization programs and solvers (CPLEX/IBM/ODMe or similar).
Ability to analyze Java and/or .Net code to understand data processing.
Proficient in SQL with ability to translate requirements into queries.
Translate supply chain optimization problems into tangible solutions.

Responsibilities

Execute optimization projects in an Agile framework.
Develop customized planning/execution solutions to support the business.
Provide first & second level support for optimization programs.
Analyze methods and implement process improvements for inventory/service levels.
Drive harmonization of supply chain processes across functions.
Coach and train peers through workshops and final training sessions.
