Job description

This role will be part of the Supply Chain function within BSC Malaysia. The scope of responsibility includes order fulfillment, customer service, and consignment inventory management within the country, ensuring customer orders and queries are met accordingly. Order fulfillment and consignment management are core competencies of this role. This role requires close collaboration with various functions in the country to delivery country business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for business units’ inventory health and be able to propose improvement activities.
  • Responsible for customer service and order management activities (including delivery and returns management)
  • Responsible for business units’ inventory management including consignment management, ensuring inventory plan is aligned with business plan through analysis of overall business performance.
  • Responsible for supply chain related activities for dealers/distributors under the individual’s care.
  • Collaborate with commercial team on advance stock requests, consignment and order fulfillment, capital equipment program management while maintaining established service levels.
  • Work with dealers/distributors and troubleshoot any queries raised

Key Activities

  • Supervise order team and complete the order processing and billing activities in a timely manner
  • Manage used and unbilled products to ensure timely billing to customers
  • Working with service providers for timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Reduction of slow moving or nonmoving inventory to optimize inventory holding
  • Coordination of movement of capital equipment
  • Gather customer feedback and propose customer improvement actions
  • Participate and provide insights in monthly Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) meeting.
  • Participate in local/ regional projects on supply chain process improvements
  • Supports the team in any Customer Service-related matters.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of working experience in supply chain management preferably in FMCG / Medical equipment / Pharmaceuticals company and experienced in leadership position
  • Performance oriented, analytical, and sharp minded
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate good leadership skill and a team player
  • Familiarity/Literacy with SAP

Qualification

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management / Logistics or any relevant degree
  • Speaks and understands English on a Business level
  • Good understanding on supply chain and operational activities including (but not limited to) planning, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, customer fulfillment and import/ export operations
  • Able to recognize and handle any complaints proactively
  • Proactively add value to business processes including both internal and external customers
  • Familiar with basic analytical tools such as spreadsheets and visualization tools
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
